“Seven
Undeniable Rapture Truths”
#1. The saints will be raptured before
the wrath of God.
“And to wait
for His Son from heaven, whom He raised from the dead, even Jesus, which
delivered us from the wrath to come.” (I Thessalonians 1:10)
“For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to
obtain salvation [deliverance by rapture] by our Lord Jesus Christ.” (I
Thessalonians 5:9)
#2. The wrath
of God, also called “The Day of the Lord”
(Isaiah 13:9-1; Zephaniah 1:14, 15), is preceded by heavenly wonders:
“And I will show wonders in the heavens and
in the earth, blood, and fire, and pillars of smoke. The sun shall be turned
into darkness, and the moon into blood, before
the great and the terrible day of the Lord.” (Joel 2:30, 31; Revelation 6:12-17)
#3. The
heavenly wonders begin after the great tribulation
ends:
“Immediately after
the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not
give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the
heavens shall be shaken.” (Mattthew24:29)
[Also see Revelation 6:12-17]
#5. The
rapture occurs after the heavenly wonders occur darkening the planet,
then, when Jesus comes “In the clouds of
heaven with power and great [Shekinah] glory”(Matthew 24:30) illuminating
the entire world, after which His angels “Gather
together the elect from the four winds from one end of heaven to the other.
(Matthew 24:31)
#4. Therefore,
the rapture will occur after the great tribulation
is cut short by God when He comes to rescue the saints by rapture just before
He begins His wrath/day of the Lord (Matthew 24:21-31)
#5. The
rapture is just one of the necessary events God will bring to pass as He
prepares the world for His global wrath-filled judgment called the Day of the
Lord, the most prophesied event in Scripture which is abundantly described by
the Old Testament prophets and fulfilled in His judgments of Revelation 8-19.
#6. The Lord
will send Elijah the prophet “Before the coming of the great and dreadful Day of the Lord” (Malachi 4:5, 6) to “Restore all things” (Matthew 17:11) which are necessary for the
Lord’s Second Coming!
#7. Therefore,
the next event on the prophetic horizon is God’s sending of this powerful Hebrew
prophet who will “Turn the hearts of the
fathers to the children and the hearts of the children to their fathers”(Malachi
4:5, 6) as part of His restoration of all things.
